Veterinary Medical Library welcomes donations of books and other information materials so that we can collect materials of good quality to support education process and research which develops students knowledge and manners
Please contact to circulation desk to donate materials.
However, the following range of materials is generally not considered due to our collection development policy and lack of stack spaces :
(If you donate those materials which is inadequate for our collection development policy, they can be thrown away.)
• Titles already held 2 copies in stock of VML
• Outdated materials without scholarly worth such as dictionaries and encyclopedias more than 5 years old, general books more than 10 years old.
• Couples of serials which are not possible for binding
• A pocket edition
• Materials that are in poor physical condition (with the exception of rare books)
• leaflet, bindings, pamphlet, copied materials, promotional materials, etc.
• Dissertations of other universities
• Materials having other libraries’ stamp
• Personal materials published by a person or a personal group
• Any other material inappropriate as academic library holdings
