Introduction

What is EndNote?  


 A bibliographic software used by millions of researchers, scholarly writers, students, and librarians

Allows you to organize and manage your references
and produce reference lists that are formatted according to the citation style of your choice

 

※ Downloading the software​

   ① SNUL Homepage > FIND > Databases > Search for EndNote > Click 'EndNote'

   ② Choose Windows or Mac version to download.
       (Only available to SNU members → Sign in to library homepage to download software)

 

※ Installing EndNote​

   ① Close all Microsoft Office apps.
   ② After clicking the download link, click Save, and unzip the downloaded file.
       (Folder is compressed, contains EN20Inst.msi and License.dat files)
   ③ Double-click the ​EN20inst.msi file.
   ④ Follow the instructions to install the software.

 

※ EndNote Setup

   ① From "Select Installation Type", choose "Custom" and click Next.
   ② Click "Additional Styles" from "Select Features" to install styles of specific disciplines.
       (Humanities, Social Sciences, Life Sciences, Medicine, Engineering, etc.)
   ③ Select "Will be installled on local hard drive" from the dropdown menu and click Next.
